9 (a) Play Area
Nothing to report. Awaiting inspections report from Carmarthenshire County Council.
9 (e) Dog fouling – school lane
No further complaints received.

9 (a1) Christmas Tree event – Llanwrda
It was reported that one set of lights were faulty. Father Christmas, Choir, etc. would be present, a list to be given to Councillor J. Thompson in order that the information could be placed on the Facebook page. Councillor M. Goddard-Pepperzak agreed to obtain details.

(b) Carmarthenshire County Council Road Show was being held 5th December.
(c) Bryngadwgan Wind Turbines – public meeting at Pumpsaint Hall, 7th December,2023 with Cefin Campbell, Anne Davies and Adam Price attending.

Requests for donations had been received from the following and it was agreed to give a donation:

A request had been received from Gwrdaf Church, the Clerk to obtain further information.
Audit Report 2022/2023
Included in the minutes of the next meeting
(a) Budget 2023/2024
A budget report had been prepared and copies had been sent with the minutes
(b) Signing of quarterly financial statements and bank statements
Financial Report had been prepared and distributed, copies to be sent to Councillor M. Goddard-Pepperzak for signature.
Precept
The Budget Report was discussed and it was agreed to increase the Precept and finalised at the next meeting.
IRP
Copies of the consultation had been sent to everyone, Community Councillors were allowed to claim finance for using their home as an office. This to be discussed at the Annual General Meeting.
S137 payments
For 2024/2025 this would be £10.81 per ratepayer.

9. Urgent Business
9 (a2) Power of Competence
Copies of the information regarding Power of Competence had been sent to every member.
9 (a3) Village Memorial Monument
It was noticed that the overgrown trees had stained the top of the monument. The Clerk to contact Griffiths Bwtrimawr to have a look at the work required, as they carried out work on the Monument previously in 2018.
The Poppy Wreath had disappeared from the monument, the Clerk agreed to donate a replacement.
10. Date of next meeting
The next meeting to be held Wednesday 17th January, 2024. The Clerk to send a link at 6.50 p.m.
