Minutes of the meeting of Llanwrda Community Council held at 7.00 o’clock using MS Teams on Wednesday 19th July, 2023

4. Matters arising from the minutes:
9 (a) Play Area
An invoice had not been received from Wicksteed. It was agreed to ask Huw Gwynne Fencing to cut the grass around the swings, under the benches, etc. as necessary. The work to be reviewed in September.
9 (e) Dog Fouling – school lane
Nothing further to report.
9 (i) A40 road – Llanwrda
No reply received to date from Lee Waters, M.S.
9 (k) Bute Energy
No further updates.

The additional information regarding virtual meetings to be updated to the present Standing Orders.

5.1 (b) Report from County Councillor
(a) Drop in sessions on 25th July, 2023 – business/housing

5.2 (b) Report from Cornwallis
A very successful public meeting had been held recent, a meeting which was well attended. It was reported that Bro Myrddin was on hold, an heritage grant of £20,500.00 had been received and a further feasibility study was being organised. The possibility of building public toilets on the side of the school hall, or maybe attached to the kitchen was discussed. The building of 13 houses had been mentioned, but phosphate was an issue. Hopefully they could add a further 2 or 3 new Trustees.

Further information had been received from Llanwrda C.C. and it was discussed and agreed to give a donation of £50.00
