9 (a) Playing Field
Following the inspection report of the Play Equipment it was discussed and agreed to ask Hugh Gwynne Fencing to remove any moss, etc. from the play equipment. It was also agreed to ask him to empty the Litter Bins once a month from September onwards. The Clerk had received dog fouling stickers, Councillor M. Carroll agreed to place these on the litter bins on the A.40. It was necessary to organise a rota for inspecting the play equipment.

8 (1) Road to Llanwrda Station – Moss on Road
See minute 8 (2)

8 (2) Road to Llanwrda Station – repairs to pavement, etc.
The following reply had been sent to the County Councillor by Stuart Quick:
“I can confirm that some remedial work has been undertaken to the masonry wall of the footway and the adjacent hedge has been cut. I will arrange for herbicide to be applied to the surface of the footway to remove the build-up of moss and any potholes will be treated. I would however point out that due to its location and usage this section of footway is low priority and any limited budgets have to be targeted at higher priority locations throughout the operational area. It will however remain on the rolling footway maintenance programme were should funds become available”.

The road by Hafod Bridge had now been repaired.

This was ongoing.
