Minutes of the MS Teams meeting of Llanwrda Community Council held at 7.00 p.m. on Wednesday 17th April, 2024.

Councillor J. Thompson had resigned as a member and an email had been sent to thank her for her work and contribution to Llanwrda Community Council.

2. Minutes of the meeting held 20th March, 2024
Minutes were accepted as correct.
3. Declaration of Interest

4. Matters arising from the minutes
9 (a) Play Area
The Clerk had ordered Graffiti removal solution as previous from Spaldings, Ltd. and D H. L. Gwynne Fencing had agreed to remove the Graffiti, and any algae on the play equipment.
9 (e) Dog Fouling – School Lane
No further issues received.
9 (k) Bute Energy/Green GEN Cymru
A successful meeting had been held at Llanwrda Village Hall, with Cefin Campbell, Ann Davies and Adam Price attending the meeting. It was discussed and agreed to write a letter of objection to Green GEN Cymru.
9 (a) Co-option of Members
This was discussed again, and it was agreed that the Clerk send Councillor B. Charles Davies a definite map of Llanwrda which showed the boundary between Llansadwrn and Llanwrda.
9 (a7) Village Speed Limit
No further updates received from Carmarthenshire County Council

Audit 2023/2024
As previously explained this year Accounts will be audited by the internal auditor and also Wales Audit Office. They require copies of all invoices, cash book, minutes, etc.

Letter to be distributed at the Annual General Meeting.

9 (a8) Road Issues
Complaints were received regarding the pot holes in the area, also fly tipping was continuing to be an issue.
9 (a9) Road from Public Hall to Village Store
Complaints had been received regarding the state of the road from the Public Hall to the Village Store. Also, from the Village Hall to Parc Newydd. These would be reported to Carmarthenshire County Council.

The next meeting would be held on Wednesday 15th May, 2024 at Llanwrda Village Hall.
