CYNGOR CYMUNED LLANWRDA COMMUNITY COUNCIL
Minutes of the meeting of Llanwrda Community Council held via MS Teams at 7.00 p.m. on Wednesday 26th November, 2025.

2. Minutes of the meeting 15th October, 2025
Minutes were accepted as correct.

3. Declaration of Interest
County Councillor A. Davies – Green GEN Cymru

4. Matters arising from the minutes:

9 (a) Play Area
No issues to report

9 (e) Dog Fouling
One problem had been reported.

9 (k) Green GEN Cymru
GEN consultation was closing today. Bryncadwgan Wind Turbines were now 19 in total and not 25. Only Bryncadwgan will be using Llanwrda field.

9 (a) Village Speed Limit
A Go Safe van had been in the village.

9 (21) Beer Festival
No further updates. They were making enquiries regarding Sponsors for the event.

9 (25) Roman Road
Send reminder regarding updates for SatNav signs.

9 (28) Benches for the village
The Clerk was completing a funding application.

9 (32) Tyres in River
The Clerk had sent copies of the problem to National Resources Wales and they were going to forward them to the County Council.

9 (30) Christmas Tree event
The Christmas Tree would be lit on 3rd December, 2025. A request was made for donations of Sherry from the Community Councillors

Community Councillor Training – One Voice Wales
Councillor Bethan Charles Davies had completed the following training:
Code of Conduct, Understanding the Law, Health and Safety

(a) Budget 2026/2027 – Precept
Details of the expenditure for 2024/2025 have been forwarded to everyone in order to agree the Precept. This was discussed and it was agreed that the Precept for 2026/2027 would be £20,000.00

(b) Signing of quarterly financial statements and bank statements
The Clerk to arrange for Councillor S. Goddard to receive the paperwork to sign.

9. Urgent Business

9 (33) Planting of Crocus flowers
Councillor R. Jones had collected the Crocus and they had been planted by the Bloomers around the village.

9 (34) Hedge along School Footpath
This had been reported as overgrown. It was agreed to ask Steve Knight to cut the Hedge.

The next meeting to be held via MS Teams at 7.00 p.m. on Wednesday 21st January, 2026.
